CapSpecialty® is seeking a Compliance Analyst – Producer Contracting.  Responsible for assisting in the onboarding, maintenance and termination of producers through our producer management systems. Review, prepare, distribute and maintain all producer contracts and documents related to CapSpecialty's producers. Be an active participant in the Producer Contracting team, working with the Compliance department to achieve its short- and long-term development and planning objectives.


Principal Job Duties include:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of producer packets in the producer management systems and complete producer onboarding. 
  • Be proactive in the maintenance of all producer changes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry licensing regulations. Process producer name changes, terminations or other producer contract modifications as determined by Underwriting. 
  • Acquire industry regulatory knowledge and maintain compliance related to producer licensing and appointments. Ensure adherence to state rules and regulations and company policies related to producer contracting and appointments. Perform research related to state licensing rules and regulations. 
  • Represent Producer Contracting in corporate and interdepartmental projects to ensure compliance needs are addressed in the design and delivery of those projects.    
  • Complete data calls, insurance department surveys, and insurance company regulatory filings as directed by the Compliance department. 


Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' professional experience in agency compliance or in insurance industry, preferably a Property & Casualty environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to work collaboratively and professionally with employees at all levels of the Company.  
  • Strong analytical problem solver.  
  • Ability to respond rapidly to changing work conditions and expectations. 
  • Ability to take initiative and act independently without direction when necessary. 
  • Skills with using personal computers, the internet and multiple software programs.
